This is the growing view of the United States thanks to the Neocons who are always scheming and want nothing but endless wars because they cannot sleep at night without hating someone as an enemy. Robert McNamara (1916 – 2009) who was a Neocon, at least repented for how he was wrong and let the country into a Vietnam War. This Indian politician is explaining a view of America from the outside that I hear all the time, but you will never see it in the American press. It is deeply concerning for just as the propaganda has been turned up against Putin leading to unprecedented hatred of the Russian people, there is a major risk that the Neocons are turning the world to hate the American people as well. That is the requirement for World War III.
The Lincoln Memorial is closed today after a graduation party left trash everywhere and didn’t clean up after. It is reported to be students from Georgetown University.
In all seriousness, I’ve been waiting 7 years for the US Disinformation Governance Board to open its doors. It was the only natural progression of Ukraine’s Information Operation against US citizens and journalists possible. Its inception was only a matter of time under a Democrat US President.
Consider the following carefully. They are both talking about the same thing, just framing it differently.
While on a visit to Japan to meet with Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, President Joe Biden said that American troops would defend Taiwan if it came under attack from China.
"You didn't want to get involved in the Ukraine conflict militarily for obvious reasons. Are you willing to get involved militarily to defend Taiwan if it comes to that?" a reporter asked Biden during a news conference. "Yes," Biden replied.
A Ukrainian official has said that the U.S. is working on a plan to target Russia's Black Sea Fleet to free up ports whose blockade by Moscow threatens world food supplies.
With Ukraine one of the world's biggest suppliers of grain, there are fears the blocking by Russia of the ports that allow the distribution of the food will spur a global food shortage .
On Friday, Ukrainian ministry of internal affairs adviser Anton Gerashchenko tweeted that the U.S. "is preparing a plan to destroy the Black Sea Fleet."
Prince Andrew has become a favorite subject of criticism since Virginia Giuffre accused him of s*xual assault and intentional infliction. In court documents, the alleged victim claimed she was a victim of Jeffrey Epstein’s s*x trafficking and abuse from the age of 16.
Virginia Giuffre said Prince Andrew s*xually assaulted her on three occasions when she was under the age of 18. In an interview with BBC in 2019, she revealed Jeffrey Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell to the Duke of York and recounted being told that she had to “do for Andrew what I do for Jeffrey.”
In February, Prince Andrew agreed to settle the civil suit filed by Virginia Giuffre regarding allegations of s*xual assault. The amount of payment was not disclosed but was thought to be between $13 million and $15 million.
The aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan and its strike group deployed Friday — months after returning to its homeport of Yokouska, Japan, from a five-month deployment last year.
The strike group deployed to promote stability in the 7th Fleet and is “expected to work with allies and partners, promote adherence to a rules-based international order, as well as maintain presence and flexibility,” according to the Navy.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has once again raised the specter of nuclear war as President Vladimir Putin's state grapples with the support provided to Ukraine by the U.S. and its western allies.
As foreign aid, including U.S. military equipment, has flooded into the country, Russia has held out the threat of nuclear weapons as its forces have struggled to achieve their aims.
Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned last week of the risk of "a full-fledged nuclear war" in the event of a conflict between Russia and the West, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has previously said Russia is using that threat to "blackmail the world."
A massive asteroid called Asteroid 7335 (1989 JA) is set to make a close approach to Earth next week, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The US space agency projects the space rock, with a length and diameter of 3,400 feet (1,036 meters), will pass Earth on Friday, May 27.
The colossal space object is reportedly the closest asteroid flyby to date and for the next 200 years.
“Monkeypox” – who could have seen it coming? Well, apparently the organisation founded by Ted Turner in 2001 called the ‘Nuclear Threat Initiative’ (NTI) saw it coming when they published a report in November 2021 called “Strengthening Global Systems to Prevent and Respond to High-Consequence Biological Threats.” The report states that in March 2021, they partnered with the Munich Security Conference to run an exercise scenario involving a “deadly, global pandemic involving an unusual strain of monkeypox virus that emerged in the fictional nation of Brinia and spread globally over 18 months…the fictional pandemic resulted in more than three billion cases and 270 million fatalities worldwide.”
Amazingly, the scenario had the monkeypox outbreak emerging as a result of an act of bioterrorism in May 2022, right where we are now. We have dealt with gain of function garbage involving non-existent viruses in several other videos, while Dr Stefan Lanka has also dismantled such fallacies. Regardless, the NTI’s report suggests that what is required in a fantasy outbreak is “aggressive measures to slow virus transmission by shutting down mass gatherings, imposing social-distancing measures, and implementing mask mandates”. The winning countries in their hallucination implemented “large-scale testing and contact-tracing operations and scaled-up their health care systems”.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on Monday allowing the confiscation of assets from citizens accused of supporting Russia in the ongoing conflict.
The legislation, which parliament passed in mid-May, states that the seizure of assets is an extraordinary measure which can only be used during martial law and based on a court ruling. On Sunday, Ukraine extended martial law for another 90 days, until August 23.
“The procedure of tracking down and seizing the assets of sanctioned persons, who in one way or another back the aggression of the occupiers against Ukraine, will allow us to swiftly and effectively replenish the Ukrainian budget at the expense of the enemies,” Zelensky said.
Actions that could lead to the confiscation of assets from companies and individuals include harming the national security and sovereignty of Ukraine, identifying Ukrainian patriotism with Nazism, and inciting hatred toward the Ukrainian people, their culture and language.
In April, the Ukrainian parliament passed a law allowing the nationalization of assets of Russian citizens or those with close links to Moscow, who publicly deny that a war is underway. Russia officially describes the conflict in Ukraine as a “special military operation.”
A team of neuroscience researchers was left "really surprised" after a gene-editing experiment unexpectedly created hyper-aggressive hamsters, according to a statement by Georgia State University (GSU).
The GSU research, published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), set out to find more about the biology behind the social behavior of mammals.
The scientists used Syrian hamsters and CRISPR-Cas9 — a revolutionary technology that makes it possible to turn on or off genes in cells. The technology knocked out a receptor of vasopressin — a hormone associated with enhanced aggression.
The scientists anticipated that doing so would "dramatically" alter the social behavior of the Syrian hamsters, making them more peaceful. It did change their behavior, but not how they had expected.
The monkeypox virus has emerged in the Netherlands. Minister Kuipers has labeled it a group A-disease and vaccines are being deployed. Group A-diseases are infectious diseases for which the doctor must immediately report to the state if the diagnosis has been made. But are vaccines safe?
Of the 618,456 bridges in the U.S. (comprising over 396.2 million square meters of bridges), 7.3% -- 45,031 bridges (comprising 21 million square meters) -- were classified in poor condition as of 2020. Another 294,992 bridges, 47.7%, were classified as fair and 278,433 bridges, 45.5%, as good, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.
Senate Democrats introduced a strict new gun control bill on Thursday that would require all Americans to obtain a five-year federal firearm license before purchasing a single gun. The bill also authorizes the government to confiscate an individual’s guns if the license is revoked.
The Federal Firearm Licensing Act would force Americans to undergo firearm safety training — including a written test and hands-on training — in order to receive a license. Gun buyers would also be required to complete a criminal background check, submit fingerprints and proof of identity, and be over the age of 21.
A federal judge appointed by Donald Trump on Thursday dismissed a collection of counterclaims asserted by MyPillow and its Trump-supporting CEO Mike Lindell against voting technology companies US Dominion and Smartmatic.
The case originated when, in 2021, Dominion filed defamation lawsuits against Sidney Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and both Lindell and MyPillow for their respective comments about the 2020 election. Lindell moved to dismiss the case. A judge refused to acquiesce, and an appeals court affirmed the refusal. The trial court asked Lindell and MyPillow to file as counterclaims some of the arguments both the CEO and his company pressed against the two voting technology companies in separate lawsuits; both did as ordered.
“Dominion seeks to intimidate those who might dare to come forward with evidence of election fraud, stop criticism of election voting machines, and suppress information about how its machines have been hacked in American elections,” one of the Lindell counterclaims asserted.
New for 2022, the tau Herculid meteor shower may make an appearance on the night of May 30-31.
Sometimes, astronomy can be full of surprises. Take the case of a tiny comet, normally far too faint to be seen without the help of a telescope. But in 1995, it suddenly and quite unexpectedly brightened up to become dimly visible with the naked eye.
Come the end of May, things could turn exciting, thanks again to this same tiny comet. On that night, a new meteor shower — the tau Herculids — might erupt, perhaps ranking with the best of the annual meteor displays.
The IRS said Friday it will pay 5% interest to people with delayed tax returns starting in July. That's up a full percentage point from the last interest rate increase in April.
In a Friday statement, the IRS said the new rates on delayed refunds, considered overpayments by the IRS, will be 4% for corporations starting July 1.
The interest will be 7% on large corporate underpayments exceeding $10,000, according to the agency.
Explaining at how it arrived at the interest rates for corporations, the IRS said, "Generally, in the case of a corporation, the underpayment rate is the federal short-term rate plus three percentage points, and the overpayment rate is the federal short-term rate plus two percentage points. The rate for large corporate underpayments is the federal short-term rate plus five percentage points."
An audit of the Internal Revenue Service found staffers destroyed 30 million taxpayer documents, as they faced a massive backlog. However, the tax collection agency says no taxpayers were adversely affected by the destruction.
The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration made three recommendations for the IRS to improve its processing of paper tax forms and promote more e-filing. However, the IRS disagreed with two of the recommendations.
"This audit was initiated because the IRS’s continued inability to process backlogs of paper-filed tax returns contributed to management’s decision to destroy an estimated 30 million paper-filed information return documents in March 2021," says the TIGTA report signed by Michael E. McKenney, the deputy inspector general for audit. "The IRS uses these documents to conduct post-processing compliance matches to identify taxpayers who do not accurately report their income."
The IRS issued a public statement last week regarding the inspector general report first released on May 4.
Fox News host and top conservative talk host Dan Bongino sounded off on Saturday following revelations a day earlier that Hillary Clinton personally approved the leak of a false link between then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump and Russia.
Bongino lashed out following testimony by Clinton’s former campaign manager, Robby Mook, that she signed off on releasing a fake story of a secret backchannel electronic link between the Trump Organization and a Kremlin-linked bank.
“This is only, in my opinion, the biggest political scandal in modern history. But think about what happened yesterday. There’s a couple of angles to this, too, that I’m really stunned some others in the left-wing media, and I use that word ‘stunned’ loosely, have not picked up on,” said Bongino.
“We had a campaign higher-up in the Hillary Clinton campaign, Robby Mook, basically admit that the biggest farce in American history, the [Russian] collusion hoax, was a fake.
More than 70,000 pounds of baby formula was flown to Indianapolis, Indiana, Sunday from Europe.
"Folks, I’m excited to tell you that the first flight from Operation Fly Formula is loaded up with more than 70,000 pounds of infant formula and about to land in Indiana," President Biden tweeted Sunday. "Our team is working around the clock to get safe formula to everyone who needs it."
As schools around the nation adopt more "gender affirming" policies following the Biden administration's promotion of the practice, members of national education organizations, such as the American School Counselor Association, may be withholding that information from students' parents, the Post Millennial reported Friday.
The article stated that the student counseling organization, which boasts some 75,000 members of the total 300,000 guidance counselors, advocates for the students to decide who can be told about their gender identity.
"School counselors recognize that the responsibility for determining a student's gender identity rests with the student rather than outside confirmation from medical practitioners, mental health professionals or documentation of legal changes," the organization’s adopted practice standards regarding transgender and gender-nonconforming youth state. "Transgender and gender-nonconforming students have the right to decide when, with whom and to what extent to share private information. When contacting the parent/guardian of a transgender or gender-nonconforming student, school staff should use the student’s legal name and the pronoun corresponding to the student’s assigned sex at birth, unless the student or parent/guardian has specified otherwise."
A Virginia middle school teacher was arrested last week on child pornography charges, according to police.
Kristine Knizner, a general science teacher at Irving Middle School in Springfield, allegedly had child sexual abuse content on her Snapchat account, Fairfax County police said, according to Fox 5.
Fairfax police said they had received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Tuesday that someone with a Snapchat account associated with a Fairfax County IP address was in possession of child sexual abuse material.
The second New York City suspect being sought in connection to the murder of 11-year-old Kyhara Tay is also wanted for a pair of armed robberies that happened a month before the Bronx deadly shooting.
Omar Bojang, 18, is accused of driving a scooter around 4:50 p.m. on May 16 on Fox Street towards 165 Street before his 15-year-old passenger opened fire, and Tay was fatally struck by stray bullets while standing outside. Police said the girl was not the intended target. Video shows the scooter pass a 13-year-old boy running away from them before the passenger turns and unleashes a barrage of bullets in his direction.
The 15-year-old was arrested at approximately 2:05 a.m. Friday and is charged with murder, manslaughter and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
A Los Angeles area homeowner took matters into his own hands to defend himself and his wife early Saturday when authorities say he shot and killed one of two suspected burglars who broke into their home overnight.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said deputies responded to reports of a burglary happening around 4 a.m. in the 20000 block of East Country Hollow Drive in Walnut, in eastern Los Angeles County.
A 27-year-old man and his 26-year-old wife said they heard footsteps and went to investigate the noise.
The male homeowner confronted an armed burglar, and a shootout between the two unfolded. The suspect was shot in the upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, FOX 11 Los Angeles reported.
German industry is reportedly preparing to institute gas rationing in Europe’s largest economy as Vladimir Putin’s Russia cut off shipments to Finland, which has launched an application to join the NATO military alliance.
The Federal Network Agency of Germany, locally known as the Bundesnetzagentur (BNetzA), is reportedly drafting action plans to implement gas rationing in response to Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s demands that unfriendly nations purchase natural gas from Moscow in rubles rather than Western currencies such as the dollar or euro.
According to a report from the Reuters news agency, BNetzA — which regulates energy in Germany — said: “Depending on the seriousness of the shortages … it could be necessary … to cut supply of gas to some users to zero.”
Germany, even after government measures to lessen dependency on Russian oil and gas, still receives around 35 per cent of its gas imports from Russia, sparking concerns among business leaders that should the supplies be cut off, there could be massive implications for the German economy, which is already experiencing its highest level of inflation in over 40 years.
Elon Musk suggested Saturday that his agreement to purchase Twitter for $44 billion and take it private should be cut proportionate to the number of bots on the platform.
Musk tweeted "Absolutely" in response to from Ian Miles Cheong, who tweeted: "If 25% of the users are bots then the Twitter acquisition deal should cost 25% less."
French Secretary of State for European Affairs Clement Beaune says a bid by Ukraine to join the European Union would take at least 15 to 20 years to be finalized, dashing Kiev’s hopes of quickly gaining the bloc’s membership following Russia’s offensive against the former Soviet state.
"We have to be honest. If you say Ukraine is going to join the EU in six months, or a year or two, you're lying," Beaune told France’s Radio J. on Sunday, adding, "It's probably in 15 or 20 years, it takes a long time."
"I don't want to offer Ukrainians any illusions or lies," he said, reiterating French President Emmanuel Macron’s offer to create a looser "European political community" that could help integrate Ukraine with the EU sooner.
In a speech to the EU's parliament in Strasbourg on May 10, Macron said it will take decades for Ukraine to be accepted into the EU, instead suggesting that Kiev could join a "parallel European community" while it awaited a decision.
Kim Jong-un attended the funeral for a top North Korean official, state media reported on Monday, helping carry his coffin, as the country maintained the much-disputed claim that its coronavirus outbreak is subsiding.
The official Korean Central News Agency said Kim attended the funeral on Sunday of Hyon Chol-hae, a Korean People’s Army marshal who reportedly played a key role in grooming him as the country’s next leader before Kim’s father, Kim Jong-il, died in late 2011.
State media photos showed a bare-faced Kim Jong-un carrying Hyon’s coffin with other men wearing masks before he threw earth to his grave at the national cemetery. They showed many soldiers clad in olive-green uniforms saluting while other officials dressed in dark suits stood at attention.
KCNA said “a great many” soldiers and citizens earlier turned out along streets to express their condolences when Hyon’s coffin was moved to the cemetery.
Michael Sussmann told the CIA he was "not representing a client" when he backed Trump-Russia collusion claims in early 2017, a former agency officer testified Friday.
Kevin P., who stepped down from the CIA a few years ago after more than 32 years of service, testified Friday about a Feb. 9, 2017, meeting Sussmann had asked and obtained with the CIA and said, “He said he was not representing a client.”
The remarks are similar to the lie special counsel John Durham accuses Sussmann of making to the FBI in 2016.
For a man who appealed to the American people the night before the 2020 election saying his 40 years in Congress meant he was respected by lawmakers and would bridge the divide that has stalled Congress for so long, Joe Biden seems to be less a unifier and more a divider.
In fact, Biden has refused to work with Republicans in both houses, and astonishingly, according to one senior lawmaker, it is virtually impossible to get Biden on the phone even in times of crisis.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Fox News this past Thursday the only time President Joe Biden “actually took my call.” He added that calls on urging current matters have fallen on deaf ears in the White House, and in some cases, he even tried going through the main switchboard to hunt down the never present President.
The Great Depression was one of the most traumatic events in American history. Following the stock market crash of October 1929, industrial production crashed, construction shrank to a fraction of what it had been and millions of people found themselves on short hours or without work. Until the economy picked up again in 1935 life was a real struggle for the average American.
To get through the economic collapse and the grinding poverty that followed it, people had to adapt and learn new skills – or re-learn old ones. For that reason, many people who lived through it looked back with a sense of, maybe not exactly nostalgia, but pride in how they managed to cope.
A lot of the things people did during the Great Depression still make a lot of sense today. With our own economy looking vulnerable, and the risk of a new collapse always lurking just around the corner, would we cope as well as our grandparents and great-grandparents did? Here are some of the ways they took care of themselves and those around them through some of the hardest times the USA has ever seen.
The U.S. political establishment and its European lackeys are the embodiment of a drunken madman driving a busload of people on a cliff edge.
The move by Finland and Sweden this week to join the NATO military alliance is another reckless escalation in the United States-led proxy war against Russia.
It is no coincidence that the Nordic leaders were hosted by U.S. President Joe Biden in a joint press conference at the same time that the American Congress approved a $4o billion – largely military – aid package to Ukraine. (To date, that would tally to $54 billion that the Biden administration has pumped into Ukraine over the past two months. Most of that capital equates to military weapons.)
The combined development clearly signals that the Biden administration is doubling down on its war agenda toward Russia. This is an incredibly irresponsible and incendiary move by Washington and its transatlantic allies in Europe that is pushing conflict with Russia towards an all-out war. That would inevitably mean a world war involving nuclear weapons that, in turn, could bring about the destruction of the entire planet.
The position of the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, has never been occupied by a woman. Until 1 May, 2022, that is.
Francesca Albanese, an international lawyer and respected academic, was selected for this important role at a particularly critical time. Her predecessor, Michael Lynk, had already concluded that, "The political system of entrenched rule in the occupied Palestinian territory… satisfies the prevailing evidentiary standard for the existence of apartheid." This statement was contained in his report dated 25 March. By reaching such a conclusion, Lynk added his voice to those of Palestinian, Israeli and international organisations, as well as international law experts.
Unsurprisingly, Israel does not care for UN envoys, whose mission it is to monitor and report on human rights abuses and violations in occupied Palestine. Like any other state engaged in a military occupation, Israel is sensitive about any criticism emanating from international institutions. However, it is also a unique case. Unlike other military occupiers, it is yet to be held accountable, despite the fact that it stands accused of violating numerous international and humanitarian laws in occupied Palestine.
Israel has been at its most ugly for 27,060 days and counting, from the butchering of pregnant women in Deir Yassin by Zionist terror gangs in 1948 to the cold-blooded murder of Shireen Abu Akleh last week and the attack on the pall-bearers carrying her coffin. Israeli savagery knows no bounds. Not one day passes without Israel murdering, injuring, imprisoning, dispossessing, and depopulating the land in occupied Palestine; indeed, to this list, you can add every other crime in the book.
Statistics are inadequate to convey the savagery of the occupation state. They cannot express the ugliness of Israel's crimes, any one of which is enough to stain Israel's history and those who support it.
Israel committed 156 massacres of innocent people from 1947 to 1953 alone; it left two-thirds of the Palestinian people homeless, the largest number to be uprooted in Palestine's history.
Biden has reversed Donald Trump’s withdrawal of US forces from Somalia and will redeploy Special Operations Forces. It is just the latest move in a long history of destructive US-UK meddling in the Horn of Africa.
Almost as soon as the administration of President Joseph Biden announced a redeployment of US Special Operations Forces to Somalia on May 16, the Western media began to spin the intervention.
As the BBC framed it, Biden’s deployment would “support the fight against militant group al-Shabab” (sic). The intervention coincides with the re-election of former Somalian President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who governed between 2012 and ‘17.
Norway has made it clear that it’s not going to give in to Poland’s demand for it to share its growing profits from the oil and gas trade with either Warsaw or Kiev.
On Sunday, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki claimed that Norway would earn an extra €100 billion ($106.9 billion) from energy sales this year due to a spike in oil and gas prices caused by the conflict in Ukraine and international sanctions on Russia.
“They should share these excess profits. It’s not normal, it’s unjust. This is an indirect preying on the war started by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin,” the PM insisted, adding that Oslo shouldn’t necessarily send its money to Poland, but to Ukraine.
Morawiecki also urged young Poles to shame their Norwegian “friends” over the massive gas profits online to push the country into sharing the wealth.
However, Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Eivind Vad Petersson questioned Morawiecki’s calculations on Monday.
He explained that excess oil and gas revenues go into the country’s pension fund, also known as the Oil Fund, which was established in 1990 to make sure that this wealth serves the current and future generations of Norwegians.
“Although petroleum revenues have increased as a result of the war in Ukraine, the value of the fund has fallen,” Vad Petersson pointed out.
President Trump is many things, to friend and foe alike.
Is being a modern day Nostradamus among them? At least some think so.
The 45th President predicted many things on the campaign trail if Biden were elected and some of them are quickly coming to fruition.
Let’s break down the tea leaves that Trump read and see how close he’s come to the bullseye.
On the campaign trail, President Trump offered up a prediction about gas prices and transportation policy.
On Monday, CNBC host Andrew Ross Sorkin challenged Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on just how the administration is planning on taking on the the nation’s ongoing inflation crisis.
Sorkin specifically was interested in President Biden’s claim that raising taxes will somehow combat inflation.
Behold, your leader’s solution:
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DISAGREE – ESPECIALLY WITH LEFTISTS, CORPORATE MEDIA, HOMOSEXUALS, ANTIFA, BLM, DEMOCRATS, MARXIST/LENINISTS, SOCIALISTS, FASCISTS, NAZI’S, WORLD COUNCIL OF CHURCHES THE U.N. & MONOPOLY CAPITALISTS – ALL OF WHOM ARE ATHEISTS & MOST ARE ORGANIZED EVIL?
For most of American history, debate was a vehicle for giving the public an opportunity to hear two or more sides to an issue, and to hear it from experts so that the listening public could make an intelligent decision about that with which they were confronted. To be intelligent, one must be able to choose between. The word is derived from two Latin words – inter meaning between, and the verb legare meaning the ability to choose.
Debate was a very highly civilized and peaceful way to make an effort to persuade someone to consider your viewpoint. If you applied legitimate and verifiable facts, good logic and reason, along with an approach which was pleasant and straight forward, your chance of persuading someone was very good. Sadly, today, there is little room, if any, for debate. Instead, it is shouting vitriol and false accusations backed up with unverifiable “facts” that often later are exposed as outright lies, but by then that’s after the fact and likely too late – the damage has been done. The news media tells lies on the front page, and corrects them in smaller print with many fewer words on the next to the last page. That trick still seems to work on a lot of people.
In addition to the above groups using violence and vitriol to intimidate their opponents, they also cheat and lie through their smiling teeth. All of this, of course, can be verified, but don’t look to the blind followers of false ideologies to investigate before they castigate. This writer cannot imagine how wicked and bad things will have to get before honest people rise up and say “No more!” Let’s hope it’s soon before our nation sinks into an abyss so deep that there is no escape – we’re close in this writer’s estimate.
Central bankers’ narratives are falling apart. And faced with unpopularity over rising prices, politicians are beginning to question central bank independence. Driven by the groupthink coordinated in the regular meetings at the Bank for International Settlements, they became collectively blind to the policy errors of their own making.
On several occasions I have written about the fallacies behind interest rate policies. I have written about the lost link between the quantity of currency and credit in circulation and the general level of prices. I have written about the effect of changing preferences between money and goods and the effect on prices.
This article gets to the heart of why central banks’ monetary policy was originally flawed. The fundamental error is to regard economic cycles as originating in the private sector when they are the consequence of fluctuations in credit, to which we can add the supposed benefits of continual price inflation.
Bill Gates prediction that the world would face an unexpected smallpox outbreak is miraculously unfolding. Should we be surprised?
I know I’m not. Here’s the money-quote that was delivered by Gates 6 months before the first case was recorded.
“It’ll take probably about a billion a year for a pandemic Task Force at the WHO level, which is doing the surveillance and actually doing what I call ‘germ games’ where you practice… You say, OK, what if a bioterrorist brought smallpox to 10 airports? You know, how would the world respond to that?” Bill Gates, Sky News, November 6, 2021
One can only marvel at Gates’ extraordinary powers of perception. He’s like some kind of Software Soothsayer able to divine the future from the entrails of animals. Is that it, or does he have a crystal ball tucked-away somewhere in the bowels of his Lake Washington mansion? Whatever it is, it’s trully astonishing. Here’s more from the World Socialist Web Site:
The corrupt public health officials in the Western world, who are shills for Big Pharma as they share in the profits of the drugs that they approve, are about to inflict on humanity a worst castrophe than the Covid vaccine. They are considering using smallpox vaccine to protect against monkeypox. The New York Times, dependent as it is on pharmaceutical advertising, will support the next wave of orchestrated “health crisis” in service to vaccination profit.
Although complicit public health officials and Big Pharma will not admit it, many distinguished independent scientists have concluded that the Covid vaccine leaves the vaccinated immunocompromised. The smallpox vaccine was always dangerous even to those with good immune systems. The result of giving smallpox vaccine to the immunocompromised could be to give them smallpox and thus reinfect the human population with a far more dangerous virus than Covid and monkeyvirus.
The reason public health is threatened is not because of Covid or monkeypox or any other illness. Public health is endangered because public health authorities are marketing agents for pharmaceutical companies, and members of Congress are dependent on campaign contributions from Big Pharma for their reelections. Those who are supposed to be watching out for the public’s health are instead watching out for their own interests. This is why Covid with its masks, lockdowns, and untested vaccine was a catastrophe.
As America becomes warmer, and Americans prepare for summer barbecues and game days, they might be shocked at the cost of their favorite treat: chicken wings.
Inflation has hiked since President Joe Biden, 79, took office while the U.S. still grapples with the ongoing pandemic and supply shortages.
The prices of groceries have soared a shocking 14.3 percent, causing bigger shopping bills and inflated menu prices.
Jeff Good and Dan Blumenthal, the owners of Sal and Mookies - an NYC-themed restaurant chain in Mississippi - have been forced to sell chicken wings at market value - a menu discretion usually only saved for luxury items, such as lobster.
The group that focused on Rep. Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., leaking a nude video of him online, says they are now going to shame another outspoken Republican member of Congress, Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo.
American Muckrakers PAC relentlessly went after Cawthorn before the North Carolina GOP primary election that Cawthorn ultimately lost.
“I think we’re gonna go after Lauren Boebert in Colorado in a similar way,” the group’s co-founder, David B. Wheeler, told Insider. “I think we’re gonna engage in that race pretty quickly.”
Russia, the ‘world leader’ in hypersonic missiles, is now reportedly developing next-generation missiles even as the US is still finding its way with the technology.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov told Russian news agency Interfax last week that Russia is continuing to develop powerful and advanced hypersonic weapons. It currently has three operational hypersonic missiles- the Avangard, Kinzhal, and Tsirkon or Zircon.
“Work is underway to create a new generation of hypersonic missiles for land, air, and sea platforms. In terms of their characteristics, they will surpass the existing and future developments of the leading states,” Borisov told Interfax.
Borisov stated that tests of the next-generation armaments on Tupolev Tu-22 supersonic bombers have started. However, the development of new hypersonic weapons, particularly the new Zircon hypersonic missile, has been delayed.
PS: You did indeed write that Europe has ceased to be an independent state. You’ve almost mentioned that the United States wanted to sever EU trade ties with Russia and China. How exactly did you get to that conclusion and do you think that this alleged US plan is succeeding?
MH: Well, I simply read the speeches of President Biden and his team. They’ve said that China is America’s number one enemy. If you’re going to call a country your number one existential enemy, you’re not going to be increasing your trade and mutual dependency with it. And it’s already insisted that its allies sanction -meaning boycott- Russian sports not only of oil and agriculture but of titanium, helium and all of the other exports that Russia has been making. Europe is been following US directions not to have contact with Russia and without contact with Russia it’s not going to have contact with China because China sees that Europe is going to do to it exactly what it’s been doing to Russia.
The Russian ruble is the world’s top performing currency in 2022, as it’s up 11% against the dollar.
Amid wartime sanctions, Moscow has imposed capital controls to prop up its economy and currency.
But currency traders are about to stop using the onshore exchange rate for some transactions.
The preliminary results show:
The vaccines have already killed more Americans than COVID
For kids 5-11, the 5-11 death report data indicates we are killing 336 kids for every child we might save from COVID if the vaccine was 100% perfect in protecting against death.
The second shot is the most dangerous and increases all-cause mortality (ACM) over the next 30 days by 5X, the first and third shots raise ACM by 3X, and the fourth shot appears to only mildly elevate your risk of death. The analogy is that if 3 bullets to your head haven’t stopped you, it’s unlikely the 4th bullet will make much of a difference.
It appears that the true number of COVID deaths, vaccine deaths, and annual deaths from heart attacks are relatively comparable with each other (within a factor of 2) since January 2020 to the present. This suggests that only around 650,000 people actually died from COVID, and a slightly larger number have died from the COVID vaccines. This is in line with our VAERS minimum estimate of excess deaths caused by the vaccine: 12,000 VAERS excess deaths in the US * 41 (under-reporting factor) = 492,000 deaths.
These are all estimates, but the numbers are so absurdly high that nobody should be taking these vaccines, especially kids. It’s unethical.
VAERS is very under-reported for deaths. All 15 deaths reported weren’t reported to the VAERS system suggesting that our 41X under-reporting factor minimum estimate is well within range.
All surveys have biases and confounders. We are certainly open to hearing from anyone who thinks that they have a more accurate survey or analysis method. Instead of shooting holes in the survey, it’s more constructive to show us the “right” way.
In order to attack this research, you need to attack the data or the methodology or both using data to prove we got it wrong, not hand-waving arguments.
This work will never be published in a medical journal because it is counter-narrative. Starting on May 21, 2022, it will be “peer-reviewed” by hundreds of thousands of people who will be looking for an error and they will post it here. Check the comments if you want to see the “peer review.”
You can replicate the surveys yourself if you don’t believe me.
The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a sweeping new bill to expand the federal government’s ability to spy on Americans in the alleged effort to combat “domestic terrorism.”
H.R. 350, or the “Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act,” was passed in a 222-203 vote almost entirely along party lines, with all House Democrats and just one House Republican, Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, voting to approve the measure.
The Hill reported the legislative proposal would create “domestic terrorism offices within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI that would be tasked with monitoring and scrutinizing potential terror activity,” specifically emphasizing terror activity motivated by “white supremacist” or “neo-Nazi” sentiments.
Democrats have largely promoted the bill as a response to the horrific mass shooting perpetrated by an avowed “white supremacist” gunman (who also claimed to be in the “mild-moderate-authoritarian Left category”) at a Buffalo, New York, grocery store last week.
However, Republicans have blasted the measure for giving the federal government far too much police power.
Webmaster addition: This needs to go to the Supreme Court on First Amendment grounds!

Tension within Israel’s largest hassidic sect reached new heights on Saturday night when clashes broke out between two factions of Gerrer hassidim in Jerusalem for the second night in a row.
Israel Police used various crowd-dispersal methods to break up the crowd. Dozens of riot police were needed to evacuate one of the sect’s leaders from a besieged synagogue.
Upon his arrival, Gantz met with U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. A press release from Gantz's office said during the meeting the two emphasized the unique bond between the two countries as "one based both on shared values and mutual interests".
He thanked Sullivan for the U.S. and President Joe Biden's commitment to the security cooperation between the respective defense establishment.
Gantz and Sullivan also discussed Iran's progression in its nuclear program alongside its destabilizing regional activities, emphasizing the need to work closely to prepare for any future scenarios.
"This would be conducted within the framework of Israel’s excellent defense cooperation with the U.S. and growing ties with regional partners," the press release added.
The UK government is funding a Nazi regime in Ukraine rather than prioritizing its domestic national interests.
Britain’s parliamentary warlords have to date gladly provided £2.1 Billion to fund the Ukrainian war effort rather than budgeting to fix the UK’s gutted NHS, declining educational system, historic poverty or ever-increasing homeless population. With the deplorable state of the UK in mind, why does the British public continue to ignore this national decline in favour of Ukraine’s factual allegiance to neo-Nazism?
Answer: the lies of the British media.
It is high time to factually challenge the British media cover-up of Ukraine’s neo-Nazi connection by exposing the inconvenient truths regarding its allegiance to Nazi-inspired Ukrainian leader Stepon Bandera, the Ukrainian Right Sector, and the Azov Battalion whose swastikas are steeped in the blood from the slaughter of 14,000 eastern Ukrainians.
The origin of the war in Ukraine and its propagation of neo-Nazism can be traced back to the 2014 Ukrainian “Orange Revolution” that saw America help overthrow the legitimately elected president Viktor Yanukovych and create the terror of Maidan Square. Months before, Assistant US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland had publicly stated that the US had spent US$5 Billion to support US-style democracy in Ukraine. When that “democracy” spiralled into predictable national violence much to the dismay of European leaders, Nuland famously stated, “Fuck the EU.” A three-word synopsis for US democratic diplomacy then and now.
Military and paramilitary units of Ukraine deployed weapons and created fortified positions in educational facilities in the cities of Nikolayev and Dnepr, as well as in Donetsk People’s Republic territories under their control, the chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, Col. Gen. Mikhail Mizintsev, said on Saturday.
"Members of Ukrainian armed groups turned the following facilities into fortified positions and deployed military equipment and multiple-launch rocket systems at adjacent territories in the following locations of the Donetsk People’s Republic: School No.2 in Bakhmut, vocational school No.77 in Chasov Yar, Solnyshko kindergarten and school No.1 in the settlement of Novoekonomicheskoye," said Mizintsev, who also heads the Russian Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine.
According to the official, residents of nearby homes were not evacuated, because neo-Nazis use them as a human shield.
Poland’s defence minister on Saturday said that the Polish army would become “even bigger and stronger” than today, to guard against the Russian threat.
Mariusz Błaszczak made the declaration as he launched a campaign to promote voluntary basic military service….
He added: “We won’t allow such scenes to happen on Polish soil – we won’t allow it because our army is and will be even bigger, it is and will be even stronger.”

A group of international defense chiefs convened by U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin to coordinate military aid for Ukraine is likely to expand when it meets for the second time on Monday.
The Ukraine Contact Group, which included 40 member countries at the inaugural gathering at Ramstein Air Base in Germany on April 26, has since attracted more interest….
“In its first iteration, you had countries from the Middle East, you had countries from the Indo-Pacific,” he said. “It wasn’t just Europe, and it certainly wasn’t just NATO....”
British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, co-organizer of the push, is expected to make an opening statement along with Austin and a Ukrainian delegate, according to a British official, who spoke on condition of anonymity….
New Amazing Polly: Mind Blown! Gain Of Function on Pox Viruses Confirmed
I cover Dr. Mark Buller, the US’s leading Orthopox Virus researcher who conducted at least two rounds of gain of function research on viruses related to smallpox. Other revelations about bio-terror ‘research’ in here too.
According to TASS, the representative of the Verkhovna Rada in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Olga Sovgirya reported this in her Telegram.
“The President announced the submission to Parliament in the near future of a bill on the special legal status of Polish citizens in Ukraine,” she wrote.
Other details of the document are not given yet.
Earlier, SVR director Sergei Naryshkin said that the United States and Poland are working on plans to establish Warsaw's control over its "historical possessions" in Ukraine.
The department noted that this statement is based on intelligence from several reliable sources.
President Joe Biden on Friday named Pentagon press secretary John Kirby to be the new National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications.
Kirby "will coordinate interagency efforts to explain United States policy and will serve as a senior administration voice on related matters," the White House said in a statement.
Biden said, "John understands the complexities of U.S. foreign and defense policy, and he will ably represent the Administration on important national security issues.”
While accepting the White House job, Kirby thanked Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin “for his tremendous support and leadership these last 18 months.” Kirby said Austin “has been more than just my boss; he’s been a mentor and a confidante, and he has helped make me a better communicator.”
Austin said Kirby “will be a terrific addition to a strong team over there, and his long experience in defense and foreign policy perfectly suits him for work with the National Security Council staff.”
The United States' top military officer warned soldiers graduating from West Point Saturday to prepare for a 'significant international conflict' with Russia and China - a skirmish he said will see the cadets battle robotic tanks, ships, and planes.
'You'll be fighting with robotic tanks and ships and airplanes,' General Mark Milley, America's highest ranking officer, said, speaking to more than 1,000 Army officer hopefuls.
'We've witnessed a revolution in lethality and precision munitions. What was once the exclusive province of the United States military is now available to most nation states with the money will to acquire them.'
Fox News' former chief political correspondent has joined a chorus of voices calling for serious repercussions against Tucker Carlson - one of the network's most prominent voices.
Carl Cameron was asked: 'Do you think the Murdoch family in charge of Fox will ever pull the plug on Tucker?' during an interview with CNN's Jim Acosta on Saturday.
Cameron, 60, went on to compare Carlson's broadcasts to falsely shouting fire in a crowded movie theater.
Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said the emergence of nuclear weapons in Ukraine would be a "golden dream" for Washington.
"The US deployed its nuclear weapons on the territory of European countries. It’s not France and the UK that have their own nuclear weapons. This is Italy and many other countries that possess the US nuclear weapons but they do not have access to them. The US controls them there. It was a golden dream that it would appear in Ukraine," she said in an interview with Vladimir Solovyov on the Rossiya-1 television channel.
According to Zakharova, this "unbridled and absolutely uncontrolled conduct of the Anglo-Saxon pseudo gurus" will cover not only Russia, but also everyone who will somehow "get in their way". "They didn’t believe us then. That was ten years ago. China is now facing this on all fronts," Zakharova concluded.
In the middle of the 19th century, the British Empire ran into what what would today be termed a "public relations crisis".
Influential domestic voices were starting to criticise its industrial system and worldwide domination on ethical grounds, not least the art critic John Ruskin.
He wrote that all he had found at the heart of what was supposedly a great civilization was "insane religion, degraded art, merciless war, sullen toil, detestable pleasure, and vain or vile hope".
Lack of public support for the empire at home from the wave of "Little Englander" sentiment also risked affecting the way Britain's activities were viewed abroad.
As Carroll Quigley writes, its success was partly due to "its ability to present itself to the world as the defender of the freedoms and rights of small nations and of diverse social and religious groups".
It was therefore decided, by a powerful group based around Cecil Rhodes and Lord Milner, along with aristocrats such as Lord Esher, Lord Rothschild and Lord Balfour, to rethink the form and appearance of Britain's economic sphere of influence.
I am one of over 6 million Canadians who are currently forbidden to board an airplane, train, boat or long-haul bus to travel across Canada or leave Canada. The Federal Ministry of Transportation put this rule into effect in October 2021. Now it is late April 2022. The Federal Government of Canada continues to refuse to lift this travel ban. Period. No comment. No discussion. No debate. In addition to the Canadian government travel ban, the United States government forbids us to cross the border by car into the USA.
I am one of over 6 million Canadian citizens who are currently being held as political prisoners. The walls of this very large prison are the borders and shorelines of Canada. There are vast amounts of land within the walls of this prison, so it would appear to other Canadians that we are free. But the travel ban has created walls that feel as real as the Berlin Wall once was. I wake up at night, my flight response activated, heart pounding, adrenalin running, terrified. During the day I listen to friends, neighbours and collegues talk about their recent trips to visit family in Canada or holidays abroad. Many are oblivious to the fact that I am one of the invisible prisoners. This disturbs me even more deeply than the midnight panic attacks.
What crime did 6 million Canadians commit? What laws did we break? Why must we be held captive within the borders of Canada? What danger do we pose to airplanes, trains, buses and boats? What harm might we inflict upon our fellow travellers? What havoc might we wreak upon other nations? Why have we been vilified, demonized and condemned?
I am one of over 6 million Canadians who have made health choices other than the government, big pharma and globalist agenda sanctioned drug injection program. I erroneously believed that the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms is a document that protects Canadian citizens from government over reach and tyranny. I innocently believed I lived in a free, democratic country. I received a very shocking wake up call, as did millions of Canadians. Millions have also lost much more than the ability to travel or leave the country. I wonder what it will take for more Canadians to receive their wake up calls.
"Operation Fly Formula," a military operation enacted by the US to replenish the country's scarce stocks of baby formula, has brought in a massive shipment from Germany, but it has been reported that none of it will be destined for retail sales.
This initial shipment, which landed in Indianapolis on Sunday, will be destined for pharmacies and health care facilities such as hospitals, clinics and doctors' offices, exclusively, as part of the administration's $28 million initiative to combat the shortage.
In a Sunday tweet issued by President Biden, he announced that more than 70,000 pounds of infant formula was on this first flight.
John Ruskin (1819-1900) was an art critic and social thinker who inspired a wave of cultural rejection of industrial capitalism in Victorian England and beyond.
His views, which included an embrace of nature-rooted values, strongly influenced William Morris, Marcel Proust, Mohandas Gandhi, Herbert Read and, more recently, Charlene Spretnak.
Morris described Ruskin as one of the few people of his era “in open rebellion” (1) against the industrial system, its thinking and its tastes.
This left Ruskin feeling very isolated in an England in which he was surrounded by “insane religion, degraded art, merciless war, sullen toil, detestable pleasure, and vain or vile hope”. (2)
A white supremacist, who should have been caught a long time ago, murdered 10 people and injured three people. He purposely targeted black people.
The Democrats used this opportunity to push through The Domestic Terrorism Act: “To authorize dedicated domestic terrorism offices within the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to analyze and monitor domestic terrorist activity and require the Federal Government to take steps to prevent domestic terrorism.”
Domestic terrorism only means white supremacy in this bill.
Whether Title 42 ends or not, migrants say they are tired of waiting and surged across the Rio Grande into the Eagle Pass, Texas, area of operations. As many as 3,600 crossed so far this weekend — eclipsing last weekend’s total of just over 2,800 migrant apprehensions in the Del Rio Sector — according to a source operating within U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Border Patrol officials called in all available agents in Eagle Pass on Sunday as increasing numbers of migrants crossed the border illegally from Mexico into Texas. Sunday evening, a large group of more than 250 migrants crossed near Normandy, Texas, while others streamed across into Eagle Pass.
Thousands gathered for a rally in Istanbul on Saturday to protest the conviction of leading Turkish opposition politician Canan Kaftancioglu for insulting the president and the state.
Demonstrators in the central district of Maltepe chanted songs and waved the opposition and national flags.
Kaftancioglu, who was sentenced to just under five years in jail, heads Republican People's Party's (CHP) Istanbul branch and is one of the strongest voices in it.
In 2019, she played a significant role in municipal elections in the city that saw the CHP take over the mayoralty, which had been held by President Tayyip Erdogan's AK Party and its Islamist predecessors for the last 25 years.
Increases in food prices triggered by Russia's war in Ukraine could kill "millions" of people globally, Egypt’s finance minister has cautioned, echoing warnings made by the UN and G7 countries over the worldwide wheat shortage.
Mohamed Maait expressed concern regarding "food insecurity" around the world in an interview with Financial Times in London while insisting that Egypt has enough wheat to last until the end of the year.
Ukraine and Russia are among the biggest producers and exporters of wheat, corn and cooking oil, the global supplies of which have been threatened since Russia's 24 February invasion.
As destructive as the Ukraine war is, Russia is causing less damage and killing fewer civilians than it could, U.S. intelligence experts say.
Russia’s conduct in the brutal war tells a different story than the widely accepted view that Vladimir Putin is intent on demolishing Ukraine and inflicting maximum civilian damage—and it reveals the Russian leader’s strategic balancing act. If Russia were more intentionally destructive, the clamoring for U.S. and NATO intervention would be louder. And if Russia were all-in, Putin might find himself with no way out. Instead, his goal is to take enough territory on the ground to have something to negotiate with, while putting the government of Ukraine in a position where they have to negotiate.
Understanding the thinking behind Russia’s limited attacks could help map a path towards peace, experts say.
In nearly a month since Russia invaded, dozens of Ukrainian cities and towns have fallen, and the fight over the country’s largest cities continues. United Nations human rights specialists say that some 900 civilians have died in the fighting (U.S. intelligence puts that number at least five times UN estimates). About 6.5 million Ukrainians have also become internally displaced (15 percent of the entire population), half of them leaving the country to find safety.
“The destruction is massive,” a senior analyst working at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) tells Newsweek, “especially when compared with what Europeans and Americans are used to seeing.”
The U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) was created as an early warning system to identify vaccines that may be triggering a higher than expected number of adverse events. One of its primary objectives is to:1
“Provide a national safety monitoring system that extends to the entire general population for response to public health emergencies, such as a large-scale pandemic influenza vaccination program.”
It’s far from perfect, but it’s still incredibly useful and does serve its purpose. Publicly available VAERS data clearly reveal that the COVID shots are the most dangerous “vaccine” ever created, accounting for more injuries and deaths than all previous conventional vaccines combined over the last three decades.
But the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which jointly run VAERS, continue to insist the shots are “safe and effective,” and that not a single death has been directly attributed to the shot.
Such claims are outlandish in light of the available data, and perhaps they’re starting to realize the pickle they’re in as well, because in recent months, investigators have discovered that VAERS reports are being deleted in ever growing numbers. As noted by Stew Peters of the Stew Peters Show (above):
“VAERS is supposed to simply collect reports filled out by doctors and other medical professionals from around the country — reports of people suffering injuries and illnesses and even death after taking vaccines. Nobody is supposed to be editing or curating or fact-checking it. It’s supposed just be the reports of doctors for the entire world to see. But now we have evidence that that’s, in fact, not what’s happening at all.”
It is not yet clear whether Elon Musk’s increasingly precarious play for Twitter will result in the restoration of free speech in the “global public square.” Successful or not, Elon’s brave move has clarified beyond any doubt the Regime’s fundamental hostility to free speech and dissent. Judging from the critical reactions from journalists, NGOs and Democrat politicians, you’d think the man were attempting to invade Poland rather than remove censorship on a social media platform.
Of all the regime scribblers and scribes flooding the internet with glorified blog posts on the awfulness of Elon Musk’s Twitter bid, a piece by Renée DiResta published in the Atlantic stands out from the rest — not because of its force of argument, but because of the largely forgotten scandal behind its author.
Like the now disgraced and jobless Nina Jankowicz, DiResta is a career-girl of the Disinformation Industry — a constellation of NATO and US State Department-funded NGOs and civil society groups that censor inconvenient truths, facts and narratives under the guise of protecting the public from so-called “disinformation.” And like Nina Jankowicz, it turns out that DiResta’s name is closely associated with one of the most explosive and aggressively covered-up influence operations of the century.
Citing estimates from JPMorgan, over the weekend Bloomberg wrote that courtesy of a Biden administration terrified of what soaring inflation will mean for the Democrats in the midterms, and a Fed that is determine to do anything - even crash the market and spark a recession - to do Joe Biden's "kill inflation" bidding, the US faces a new scary threat: a plunge in wealth which JPM estimates at least $5 trillion, and could reach $9 trillion by year-end.
In short, the world’s richest nation is waking up to an unpleasant and unfamiliar sensation: It’s getting poorer... and worst of all, it's getting poorer at the behest of its own leaders.
Since the start of the year, the S&P 500 Index is down 18%, the Nasdaq 100 has lost 27% and a Bloomberg index of cryptocurrencies has plunged 48%. That all amounts to “a wealth shock that is set to drag on growth in the coming year,” JPMorgan economists led by Michael Feroli wrote in a note Friday.
"For us [Russia], the war in Ukraine … is a rehearsal for a possibly larger conflict in the future," a top Russian political scientist warned on the Russian-state TV talk show "60 Minutes."
Alexei Fenenko, a research fellow at the Institute of International Security Studies, told Olga Skabeyeva, the show's host, that the invasion of Ukraine was a testing ground of military tactics and equipment for a much broader conflict, one that could potentially involve NATO.
"And that is why we'll test and go up against NATO weapons, and will see on the battlefield how much stronger our weapons really are compared to theirs ... maybe it will be a learning experience for a future conflict," Fenenko said.
The infamous World Economic Forum (WEF) will host its annual meeting in Davos this week, and Jordan Schachtel, via 'The Dossier' Substack, is going to make sure you know who is attending the invite-only gathering.
For those of you who are new to this nefarious organization:
The World Economic Forum (WEF), through its annual Davos conference, acts as the go-to policy and ideas shop for the ruling class. The NGO is led by a comic book villain-like character in Klaus Schwab, its megalomaniac president who articulates a truly insane, extremist political agenda for our future.
Lithuania has become the second European country within a month to have electricity supplies from Russia halted.
Inter RAO, the only importer of electricity from Russia to Lithuania, confirmed the suspension of deliveries would begin on Sunday, according to Russian state-media Tass News Agency. Earlier this month, Inter RAO's Nordic branch stopped sending power to Finland after formally applying to join NATO.
"According to the decision of the electricity exchange operator Nord Pool, trading in electricity generated in Russia, which was carried out by Inter RAO (through its subsidiary Inter RAO Lietuva), is terminated" starting from May 22, Lithuania's Energy Ministry said in a statement.
It wasn't immediately clear why power trading between both countries was halted, though it comes as the Baltic nation (and NATO member) was the first European Union member to slash natural gas imports from Russia last month.
Pennsylvania firearms product dealer JSD Supply filed for a temporary restraining order against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) on May 19, asking a federal judge to block “secret and unannounced policy changes” that restrict the sale of gun parts.
A "ghost gun" is displayed before the start of an event about gun-related violence in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington on April 11, 2022. (Drew Angerer/Getty Images)
The dispute stems from the ATF ordering JSD Supply to stop dealing “80 percent receivers”—a colloquial term used within the firearms industry for incomplete and unfinished firearm frames or receivers.
“Those engaged in the business of selling these complete kits, as your company does, are in fact engaged in the business of dealing firearms,” the ATF’s May 9 order said, referencing the company’s “JSD 80% Lower Receivers, Jigs, and Gun Parts Kits.”
While the ATF has a history of approving the sale of 80 percent receivers—as documented in JSD Supply’s motion for a restraining order—the two parties apparently disagree about what exactly the company is selling. In response to an email inquiry for this article, ATF Special Agent Robert Cucinotta declined to comment but referenced The Epoch Times to the Biden administration’s April 11 order to crack down on “ghost guns.”
A California cardiologist cannot understand why COVID-19 blood clot issues get more media attention than the more prevalent condition, myocarditis.
“The blood clot issue with Johnson & Johnson may be in the hundreds, but the heart issue is in the thousands,” explained Doctor Sanjay Verma. “It’s a different level of patient exposure.”
Dr. Verma said his Coachella Valley practice sees a few hundred patients each month. Since last summer, he identified “possibly one dozen” patients whose heart conditions might be connected to the COVID vaccines, according to a report in The Epoch Times. “I can only say possibly—not definitively—because we do not yet have any diagnostic test that 100 percent says ‘this caused this.’ What we do is what’s called a process of exclusion.”
The cardiologist said it is not just news reports that elevate concerns over coronavirus clots from vaccines. “It’s to the extent that they’ve basically put a caution to only use the Johnson and Johnson if there’s no other choice,” Verma said. “So that’s a pretty strong caution. Whereas for the mRNA vaccines and heart issues, the warning is there on the FDA factsheet. But the number of people affected is far greater.”
U.S. President Joe Biden said on Monday he would be willing to use force to defend Taiwan, in a series of critical comments about China he made in Tokyo that an aide said represented no change in U.S. policy on the self-ruled island.
Biden’s comment, made during his first visit to Japan since taking office, and as Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida looked on, appeared to be a departure from existing U.S. policy of so-called strategic ambiguity on Taiwan.
China considers the democratic island its territory, part of “one China”, and says it is the most sensitive and important issue in its ties with the United States.
When a reporter asked Biden during a joint news conference with the Japanese leader if the United States would defend Taiwan if it were attacked, the president answered: “Yes.”
“That’s the commitment we made,” he said.
An angry female skateboarder has criticized Red Bull for sponsoring a contest where she got second place against her trans rival.
Taylor Silverman claims she and other female competitors were disadvantaged by officials at the Red Bull Cornerstone Contest, where she placed second and received a $2,750 award.
Trans skateboarder Lillian Gallagher was awarded $5,000 for placing first and winning two separate divisions - money that Silverman says she should have gotten.
Two Virginia schools that had been named after Confederate generals and soldiers and which changed their names in the wake of the 2020 murder of George Floyd, are reverting back to their earlier names.
The Shenandoah County School Board changed Stonewall Jackson High School to Mountain View High School and Ashby-Lee Elementary School to Honey Run Elementary School in Quicksburg, following a board vote in July 2020 and final approval in January 2021.
However, a petition was sent less than two years later to gauge the strength of feeling on regressing the schools to their original names.
Vocal opposition came from community members and alumni, with more than 4,000 people signing the petition to switch the names back.
As researchers seek answers to why in recent months more than 500 previously healthy children worldwide have developed sudden-onset, severe hepatitis, two leading hypotheses have emerged linking the outbreak to adenovirus and coronavirus.
In a May 18 update, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said it is investigating 180 cases of hepatitis in children, up 71 from the 109 cases the agency reported on May 5.
The cases occurred in 36 states and territories over the past seven months.
The CDC reported on May 5 that 90% of the children were hospitalized, and 5 deaths were under investigation.
According to the May 18 update, no deaths were reported since February, and the proportion of patients requiring liver transplants decreased since May 5 from 15% to 9%.
The U.S. now has as many cases as the U.K., which on May 12 updated its numbers to 176 cases. As of May 3, 11 U.K. children had received liver transplants, and there were no deaths.
On May 11, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control reported a total of 449 probable cases of sudden and severe hepatitis in children in 27 nations, but with the updated numbers from the U.S. and the U.K., the total number is now 533.
In recent weeks, much has been said about the political West’s (primarily US) “aid” to the embattled Kiev regime. The US Congress has so far approved or is in the process of approving at least $54 billion to Ukraine. In addition, various reports put the amount of EU “aid” at up to €10 billion thus far, although the actual number is most likely orders of magnitude greater. When put together, this pushes the publicly acknowledged figure to a staggering $65 billion, which is equivalent to Russia’s annual military spending in nominal USD exchange rates.
The number seems rather impressive and may give an outlook that Ukraine will be able to defeat Russian forces. However, the situation on the ground says otherwise. With the political West’s postindustrial economy, their ability to mass-produce affordable and easily replaceable military hardware has increasingly been called into question. Thus, most of the “aid” from the US/EU is essentially a half measure. Throwing money at a problem is highly unlikely to resolve it, as actual situations require genuine, not monetary action.
The amount of hardware Ukraine lost so far is difficult to determine, as both sides provide diametrically opposing data, while independent confirmation from the ground is virtually impossible due to ongoing military operations. However, war footage taken by civilians, alternative media embedded with frontline troops, and soldiers themselves, clearly shows that Ukraine’s losses in manpower and equipment have been massive.
To replace lost hardware, the Kiev regime will require enormous resources. However, this will be quite challenging, as the country’s Military-Industrial Complex has been virtually annihilated by Russia’s long-range strikes. Thus, the regime will need to acquire additional military hardware elsewhere. The political West is the go-to address for this purpose, as Ukraine has been getting NATO weapons for years. Still, this hardware has had a limited impact on the battlefield. To change that, NATO powers decided to ramp up the so-called “lethal aid”.

Data analyst Albert Benavides has been analyzing VAERS data since the release of these novel shots. According to Benavides, at least 10,000 reports of death or serious injury following COVID “vaccination” have vanished since the rollout of the shots — and they were not duplicate reports, which is a common “explanation” for their removal
About 2% of all COVID jab-related reports are deaths, and about 5% of death-related reports are being deleted
Only the initial VAERS reports are available to the public. Updated reports are only viewable internally. That means we have no way of knowing how many of those who were injured have since died from those injuries. This is a loophole that can make a vaccine appear less deadly than it actually is
The number of people with disabilities is soaring in Yemen after seven years of civil war, with amputations in particular rising from attacks on urban areas, the aid group Handicap International said on Friday.
Millions have been forced from their homes in the brutal conflict pitting the Saudi-backed government against Iran-aligned Houthi rebels, which has sparked widespread food shortages and ravaged the country's infrastructure.
"The rate of disabilities has skyrocketed since the beginning of the conflict," said Yasmine Daelman, the lead author of the Handicap International report that was provided to AFP.

Pakistan’s defiant former Prime Minister Imran Khan has called on his supporters to march peacefully on Islamabad on May 25th, to press for fresh elections.

In 2021, 157 sailors illegally fled the U.S. Navy, more than double the number who deserted in 2019. Although all but eight of them eventually returned to their units, a military legal expert says the dramatic increase in desertions may be a sign of a bigger issue.
The Navy has seen an increase in desertions over the previous three years. In 2019, 63 sailors fled from their duty stations, and another 98 did so in 2020, a Navy spokesperson, Lt. Cmdr. Devin Arneson, told NPR. The number of deserters still at large had been on the decline between 2017 and 2019.
But other branches of the military didn't see a similar increase in the past three years. Desertions in the Army dropped by 47%, from 328 in 2019 to 174 in 2021, and the Marine Corps reported 59 in 2019 and 31 in 2021. The Coast Guard said it didn't record a single deserter between 2019 and 2021.
U.S. military and diplomatic officials are weighing plans to send special forces troops to Kyiv to guard the newly reopened embassy there, proposals that would force the Biden administration to balance a desire to avoid escalating the U.S. military presence in the war zone against fears for the safety of American diplomats, U.S. officials said.
President Biden has yet to be presented with the proposal. But if he approves it, troops would be deployed only for the defense and security of the embassy, which lies within range of Russian missiles, U.S. officials said. Their presence inside Ukraine would mark an escalation from Mr. Biden’s initial pledge that no American troops will be sent into the country.
The administration seeks to balance concerns within the State Department that a robust, conspicuous security posture at the embassy could provoke Russian President Vladimir Putin with the need to deter a potential attack on American personnel—and have sufficient forces to extract them if fighting breaks out again in Kyiv. Russia continues to target the Ukrainian capital with occasional airstrikes or shelling even as the city has begun to return to normal.
Residents of Syria's al-Rukban camp warn they are on the brink of famine after weeks of intensified regime siege.
"The situation is terrible," a mother living in the camp told The New Arab on Sunday. "We are out of baby formula. There is no more flour, which is our main staple. Vegetables have run out, as have all basic items like rice, bulgur and oil."
Located deep in the southern Syrian desert near the border with Jordan, al-Rukban is home to around 10,000 internally displaced people. Many are former rebels and their families, who fled brutal repression by the Syrian regime but got stranded at the border with Jordan, where they hoped to seek refuge.
Al-Rukban has been completely besieged since 2018 by the Syrian regime, which denies humanitarian organisations and UN agencies access to the camp. Some aid used to come from the Jordanian side, until Jordan sealed the border in 2016 after a terror attack killed Jordanian soldiers there.
Israeli soldiers used a 16-year-old Palestinian girl as a human shield during an Israeli military attack on the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin last week, Defense for Children International has said in a new report.
Ahed Mohammad Rida Mereb, 16, was forced by Israeli soldiers to stand in front of a military vehicle on May 13 around 8 a.m., in the Al Hadaf neighborhood of Jenin during clashes with Palestinian resistance gunmen, according to information collected by DCI-Palestine. Ahed was ordered to stand outside the military vehicle for around two hours while they sat inside.
Flashback: Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla dazzled the audience in 2018 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, with fantasies of ingestible computer chips that signal authorities when a drug has been digested.
"It is a, basically biological chip that is in the tablet. And once we take the tablet and dissolves into the stomach, sends a signal that you took the table. So imagine the applications of that - the compliance. The insurance companies know that the medicines patients should take, they take them.
British Home Secretary Priti Patel is due to imminently decide on whether WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is extradited to the US, where he faces life imprisonment for journalistic activities.
The Grayzone can exclusively reveal that Patel appears to be embroiled in a covert “research and influence operation,” directly inspired by MI6 “principles and methods” and guided in part by Richard Dearlove, the foreign spying agency’s former chief.
While the Home Secretary may not be fully apprised of the dark forces swirling around her, and the purposes for which she is being exploited, there is incontrovertible evidence that her ministerial agenda and Home Office policies are being directly influenced as a result of her links to the shady group.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the war in his country could only end at the negotiating table, and signaled talks with Russia could begin soon. However, an adviser to Zelensky said diplomacy was counterproductive for Kiev.
During a Ukrainian television appearance on Saturday, Zelensky laid out a path to resolve the war by talking with Russia. "There are things that can only be reached at the negotiating table." He added, the war "will be bloody, there will be fighting but will only definitively end through diplomacy."
Zelensky was vague about the potential talks but indicated they could occur at the highest level. "Discussions between Ukraine and Russia will undoubtedly take place…Under what format I don’t know – with intermediaries, without them, in a broader group, at the presidential level," the leader said. He conditioned the talks on the good treatment of captured Ukrainian cities and POWs.
The Washington foreign policy elite, aka the Blob, hates nothing more than dissent from the conventional wisdom that the US must always do more, ever more, in the world. Those who disagree are treated as fools or traitors.
Every Friday the Washington Post engages in its weekly act of journalistic masturbation, when one of its establishment journalists interviews its other establishment journalists. The conversations are always informed, usually interesting, and often drenched in condescension. Last Friday was no different.
The Posties took on congressional passage of the $40 billion aid bill for Ukraine, expressing shock and dismay that 11 Republican senators voted no. Can you imagine – putting the interests of Americans first!? Playing the perfect Tartuffe was Josh Rogin, brimming with pietistic outrage. He singled out Tennessee Sen. Bill Hagerty, announcing that the former ambassador "knows better." Rogin huffed: "It seems pretty simple." It is better to spend the money now than to have World War III if Russia wins, he explained.
Palestinian-American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, a well-known and much-loved Al Jazeera reporter who covered Palestine for two decades, was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper May 11 while documenting an Israeli raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the Occupied West Bank.
Footage of the moments after her death show Abu Akleh, still wearing her press vest and helmet, lying face down on the ground below a tree, as Shatha Hanaysha, another Palestinian journalist and writer for Mondoweiss, sits by her side and attempts to reach out to her. Writing for Mondoweiss (5/11/22), Yumna Patel described the video:
A young Palestinian man is then seen jumping over a wall behind Abu Akleh and Hanaysha. When he attempts to retrieve Abu Akleh’s body, another round of sniper fire can be heard, and he quickly takes cover behind the tree.
The Najjar family knew what to expect on the morning of May 11 when a neighbor called: “The bulldozer is coming.” For the second time in five months, the Israeli military had come to knock down their house.
But this time there was reason to fear that the house would be gone for good. After decades of demolition, rebuilding and a more than 20-year legal battle, Israel’s highest court this month gave the military permission to permanently evict more than 1,000 Palestinians here and repurpose the land for an army firing range.
Less than a week after the high court ruling, the Najjars’ house was demolished, marking the start of what activists say will probably be the biggest mass expulsion of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since the 1967 war, when hundreds of thousands of Palestinians fled or were driven from territories captured by Israel.
In a letter penned to the likely soon-to-be owner of social media giant Twitter, Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney of New York along with several other lawmakers called upon the Tesla CEO to uphold U.S. law by preventing certain Iranian figures and organizations from utilizing Twitter to further their aims.
The letter begins by describing Musk's recent acquisition of Twitter as an "opportunity for transformational change" of the platform while recognizing that the Iranian regime currently employs Twitter "to upend free societies and threaten violence."
"This is a chance for you to restore the platform so it once again protects, values, and champions free speech," the letter reads. "It is also a chance for you to correct a longstanding concern regarding the platform's provision of digital services to sanctioned entities, like those affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran, who are responsible for, among other things, the murder of American citizens."
The GOP sellouts who voted last week to give an additional $40 billion in military and economic aid to Ukraine are being pressured to answer to their constituents for their outrageous actions.
Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz sent out a statement Sunday on Twitter claiming he voted for the bill to lower gas prices.
"Putin is trying to seize control of energy," Cruz said in a statement on his website. "If he's successful, it will be felt by Americans filling up their cars with gas or trying to heat their homes in the winter."
"If Putin wins in Ukraine, it will confirm for Xi that he can confidently invade Taiwan, seizing control of the global supply of semiconductors," he continued. "The results would be catastrophic for U.S. supply chains and the price of each and every product Americans purchase."
VoterGA will hold a press conference on Monday where they will disclose evidence that over 100 ballot drop boxes are lacking surveillance videos from the 2020 Election.

The Conservative Treehouse revisited the question that all of America is asking. If the Mueller Special Counsel spent so much money and time and resources, how did they not determine that Hillary Clinton was behind the Trump – Russia collusion sham?
The Conservative Treehouse asks:
How did Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann spend 2 years investigating Trump-Russia; with a team of 19 lawyers, $40 million in resources, 40 FBI agents, 2,800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants and 500 witnesses; and not find out that Hillary Clinton created the hoax they were investigating?
This is an excellent question that no one else is asking. How could this group of experts spend so much time, energy, and resources and not determine that the Russia-Collusion sham was created by Hillary Clinton? There is even evidence from the very beginning that they knew there was no evidence to back up the claims.
The answer is just as easy as the question is obvious. Mueller and Weissmann didn’t determine that Hillary was behind the Trump-Russia collusion delusion because they didn’t want to. Their mission was to overthrow the Trump Administration, not determine the truth. This was a coup, plain and simple.
House Republican Conference Vice Chair Mike Johnson (R-LA) is an “idiot” for opposing the late-term abortion of a child only “seconds away” from birth, according to MSNBC’s Katie Phang, who heaped praise upon an Alabama abortion provider who avoided the congressman’s questioning during a tense hearing on access to the medical procedure this week.
Filling in for The Cross Connection host Tiffany Cross on Saturday, the MSNBC guest host slammed conservative lawmaker Mike Johnson in a segment with Dr. Colleen McNicholas, chief medical officer for Planned Parenthood of St. Louis, Missouri.
Biden says US WOULD get involved 'militarily' if China invaded Taiwan: Beijing hits back with 'resolute opposition' after President said attack would 'dislocate entire region' like Putin did in Ukraine
President Joe Biden affirmed he would be willing to get involved militarily if China invaded Taiwan – drawing parallels between that threat and Russia's invasion of Ukraine during a press conference Monday in Tokyo.
'Yes,' Biden said. 'That's a commitment we made,' Biden responded when asked about the hot button diplomatic issue alongside Japan's Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Biden reiterated that the United States agrees to the so-called 'One China' policy - that only the People's Republic of China is 'China,' thus the U.S.'s diplomatic relationship with Taiwan is unofficial.

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) blamed Google for allegedly filtering his emails to supporters in the run-up to the midterms this fall, describing on May 21 his current situation as being in “purgatory.”
The senator said that up to 90 percent of his campaign emails to supporters with a registered Gmail address never reach their inboxes but go to the spam folder. He said it comes after his Democratic opponent Rep. Val Demings (D-Fla.) announced a year ago she would run against him in the 2022 midterm elections.
“Marco Rubio for Senate is in @Google purgatory. Since a Pelosi puppet announced she was running against me, they have sent 66% of my emails to REGISTERED SUPPORTERS with @gmail to spam,” Rubio wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
“And during the final weeks of finance quarters, it climbs to over 90%,” the post reads.
AI Scanners may become the norm in the United States as Governments, and private companies look to beef up their surveillance options in the wake of rising gun violence.
According to a report from the Washington Post, systems like Evolv Technology are becoming increasingly popular. Evolv’s machines are similar to metal detectors but instead use AI and light-emission to detect firearms concealed on a person.
Below is my column in the New York Post on the implications of the recent civil lawsuit against Steve Wynn for allegedly working as an agent for China. The lawsuit under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The timing of the shift to civil penalties is significant given the ongoing investigation of Hunter Biden for possible FARA violations. The decision of the Biden Administration to move away from criminal charges under FARA could prove highly advantageous for Hunter Biden.
he Biden administration quietly acknowledged in an April letter to oil & gas industry execs that a "miscalculation" is responsible for a massive backlog in offshore drilling permits.
According to the April 29 letter from the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Richard Spinrad, a subagency "discovered a miscalculation" that's responsible for the massive backlog, the Daily Caller reports.
Who's to blame? The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) - which is responsible for analyzing the impact of offshore drilling projects on wildlife - used faulty modeling which overestimated the effects on wildlife.
"NMFS understands the concerns of industry and is working with [the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM)] to expeditiously develop … revised regulations," wrote Spinrad.
Three months after Turkey's president Erdogan fired his statistics chief as inflation hit a mere 36%, now that inflation has almost doubled since then, the latest official in charge of compiling Turkish inflation statistics has decided to do the smart thing and step down on his own, becoming the latest prominent departure at an institution that’s facing harsh criticism over the reliability of its economic data.
On Friday, the Turkish Statistical Institute said Cem Bas resigned as head of the department of price statistics for "health reasons." Furkan Metin, who previously oversaw the digital transformation and projects department at the agency known as TurkStat, has replaced Bas, who’ll remain on staff in a lower-profile role.
The personnel change, first reported by Bloomberg, adds to a period of ongoing turmoil at TurkStat, whose president was replaced in January less than a year after his appointment.
The Clinton hoax is the key takeaway within the testimony of Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, during the Sussman trial. Of course, every intellectually honest person who watched events unfold already knew that. However, the DC politicians, institutions of the DOJ and FBI, and the entire corporate media world have been pretending not to know the truth for almost six years. Now they are in a pretending pickle.
Mr. Mook was legally forced to put the truth into the official record, ironically because the Clinton lawyers needed him to in order to save themselves. A stunned Jonathan Turley writes about the revelation HERE. Meanwhile the journalists who received Pulitzer Prizes, for pushing the manufactured Clinton lies that Mook now admits, must avoid any mention of the testimony in order to maintain their ‘pretending not to know things‘ position.
Special Prosecutor John Durham found the truth behind the creation of the Trump-Russia hoax, and through the trial of Sussmann is now diligently passing out the bitter pill ‘I toldyaso’s’ to the small group of rebellious researchers who found this exact trail of evidence years ago.
The Clinton campaign lying is politics. The Clinton campaign selling lies to the media is slimy, but nonetheless politics. The media pushing those lies only showcases how corrupt they are in supporting their political allies. However, the Clinton campaign selling those lies to the FBI is a bit more problematic; thus, the trial of Sussmann.
Having said all that; while also accepting this grand game of pretense; there’s an 800lb gorilla in the room that no one seems bothered by.
“Biggie’s bearish and annoying, ignored,” bellowed Biggie Too, 3rd person. “That’s how the crowd treats Biggie when these cycles get started, when stocks are still at their highs and Biggie turns bearish,” said the chief global strategist for one of Wall Street’s too-big-to-fail affairs, one of only a few such cats to call this market right. “Biggie’s bearish and they congratulate, kiss Biggie’s ring -- that’s step Number Two,” barked Biggie, slipping into a slow groove, hands in the air holding two fingers up. “Step Number Three -- Biggie stays bearish, and the crowd hates Biggie,” said Too, sharing Biggie’s Three-Step Market Manual.
“If we can’t bounce after being down seven weeks in a row, something’s seriously wrong with this market. But you gotta get to Number Three before the big bottom is in. And Biggie’s still stuck somewhere in step Number Two – getting lotta praise, no haters, no hate mail. Not yet.”
To quote Jim Cramer circa August 2007, "the Fed has no idea how bad it is out there" and 15 years later his rant is just as applicable, in a market that has rarely been uglier. So to help the Fed - and all those other traders who still refuse to panic even though they probably should (according to Goldman, over the past 15 years, there have been 36 daily selloffs of 4% or more, and the VIX was never as low as it was on Wednesday), here's some context courtesy of DB's Jim Reid to show just how bad it is.
Quoting DB's chief equity strategist, Binky Chadha, Reid notes that the current -18.7% correction is actually the 6th largest non-recession (so far) correction in post WWII history, only behind > July-98 (around LTCM and Russia default), > Sept-18 (QT and Fed hikes finally bite), > May-46 (post WWII), > Dec-61 (so called Kennedy slide) and finally > Aug-87 (including the Oct-87 crash).
Of course, if one includes recessions, there are fifteen larger post WWII sell-offs with the median recession sell-off at -23.9%.
Belgium has become the first country to introduce a mandatory 21-day monkeypox quarantine for those who contact the virus, after three cases were recorded in the country.
The infections were all linked to a festival in the port city of Antwerp, according to the Daily Mail, as Belgium is now one of 14 countries to confirm outbreaks of the viral disease (in addition to suspected, but not confirmed cases in Austria and Greece).
Investors today must deal with the effects of not one, but two wars, as my Gavekal-IS colleague Didier Darcet pointed out in April (see Tick,Tock Tick,Tock).
The first is the one we can see playing out each day on our television screens, with all the tanks, deaths and human suffering.
The second is a financial war, with the unprecedented weaponization of the Western banking system and Western currencies aimed at bringing Russia to its financial knees (see CYA As A Guiding Principle (2022)).

While no one has yet taken responsibility for the latest assassination of an Iranian official, if the initial press speculation pointing to Israel is correct, what may be its motives and goals?
What we do know is that a senior officer in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, was shot to death Sunday while parked in front of his home in Tehran by two unidentified gunmen on a motorbike.
We also know that very few countries have the motivation and capability to conduct an assassination in Iran and that Israel — possibly using members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq cult as proxies — has assassinated a number of Iranian scientists in the same fashion in the past.
British and European Union universities and academics have collaborated on thousands of joint projects with institutions tied to the military of Communist China, an investigation has claimed.
A collaborative investigation between 11 European newsrooms, the Dutch investigative outlet Follow the Money, and German nonprofit CORRECTIV has identified nearly 3,000 scientific publications that were produced by European Union universities and military-tied institutions in China.
According to a report from the German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle — one of the news outlets involved in the investigation — the scientific projects included research on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, quantum computing, and drone technology.
One of the main Chinese collaborators identified in the investigation was the National University of Defence Technology (NUDT), which not only trains elite military personnel in China but also plays a central role in developing military technology, including hypersonic and nuclear weapons and quantum supercomputers.
On the Committing High Reason podcast, veteran Ambassador and Statesman Chas Freeman explains how today’s misinformation maelstrom surrounding the media and politicians’ portrayal of the Ukraine-Russian war is “the most intense information war humanity has ever seen,” with Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro.
Ambassador Freeman is a career diplomat (retired) who was Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs from 1993-94, earning the highest public service awards of the Department of Defense for his roles in designing a NATO-centered post-Cold War European security system and in reestablishing defense and military relations with China. He served as U. S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia (during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm). He was Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs during the historic U.S. mediation of Namibian independence from South Africa and Cuban troop withdrawal from Angola.
Ambassador Freeman worked as Deputy Chief of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires in the American embassies at both Bangkok (1984-1986) and Beijing (1981-1984). He was Director for Chinese Affairs at the U.S. Department of State from 1979-1981. He was the principal American interpreter during the late President Nixon’s path-breaking visit to China in 1972. In addition to his Middle Eastern, African, East Asian and European diplomatic experience, he had a tour of duty in India.
It was about 6 a.m. when Venique Moïse flung open the door of her house and saw dozens of people running — their children in one hand and scant belongings in the other — as gunfire intensified.
Minutes later, she joined the crowd with her own three kids and fled as fires burned nearby, collapsing homes. Over the coming hours and days, the bodies of nearly 200 men, women and children — shot, burned or mutilated with machetes by warring gangs — were found in that part of Haiti's capital.
“That Sunday, when the war started, I felt that I was going to die,” Moïse said.
The EU has put an end to the lingering ambiguity surrounding how EU members can pay for Russian gas without violating sanctions.
Russia has demanded that countries pay for its gas in rubles, although European governments have struggled to find a way to oblige Russia while not running afoul of sanctions. Further complicating matters—until now—was the EU’s lack of clarification on whether such an arrangement would violate the current sanctions.
On Friday, Germany and Italy both told companies that they could open up rubles accounts in order to purchase Russian gas, in line with President Vladimir Putin’s request.
Russia’s request has companies opening up two accounts at Gazprombank; one in euros or U.S. dollars and another in rubles. Buyers would deposit the payment into one account in U.S. dollars or euros, and then it is automatically converted to rubles without the involvement of the Bank of Russia.
As of last week, 20 companies in the EU had opened accounts at Gazprombank, while another 14 had asked for the necessary paperwork to open up accounts. Germany’s VNG had already opened up an account with Gazprombank.

Chile has struggled to become a thriving democracy. Once a dictatorship under Augusto Pinochet, the country has gone through considerable turmoil since his death. Capitalism has not treated everyone fairly in this country, even though Pinochet was once lauded for the dynamic free-market economy he created, once cited as the “model for the developing world.”
By no means has Chile been the only country which has struggled to become a free-market democracy. Russia is still struggling, decades after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Iraq really hasn’t accepted democracy as a political model, even after enormous amounts of investment by the US government. Other countries have struggled as well, but not with the same results.
Much of the problem that Chile has been experiencing has been due to the vast income inequality that exists in that country. While there are portions of the population which are thriving, many others are still suffering, especially those who are dependent on retirements that were established under the Pinochet regime. Many schoolteachers are still working into their 80’s, because they can’t survive on their $300 a month pension.
Sputnik: In a recent interviews with Sputnik you said that if Russia is “able to achieve some sort of demonstrable battlefield victory of such a large scale that the inevitable defeat of Ukraine is played before the European community, that would put a damper on the provision of weaponry [by the West] in a futile exercise.” Could the surrender of Ukrainian military, National Guard and neo-Nazis in Azovstal be considered this sort of victory?
Scott Ritter: It’s an impressive victory. It’s an important victory. It’s a strategic victory, but it’s not the victory over Western weaponry that I was speaking of. It was a static victory, achieved after driving defenders underground. That was the latter half of the battle. It wasn’t a battle against Ukrainian forces that had been trained and equipped, especially, with this new wave of military assistance. Now that battle is taking place. I think with what we’re seeing in Donbass we see the potential formation of several cauldrons that have the potential of surrounding many thousands of Ukrainian troops. That’s the victory I think that could turn the tide in terms of shaping or influencing opinion in Europe and elsewhere.
No one was surprised that Leftists from President Biden down to the governor of New York demanded the eradication of “Hate Speech” after the terrible mass shooting in Buffalo, New York. The rhetoric urging censorship is bad enough. But mandating policies actually to attack free speech are even worse [‘White supremacy is a poison,’ Biden says as he calls for ending Hate Speech and curbing guns, by Robert J. McCarthy, The Buffalo News, May 17, 2022]. Yet the shooting itself, of course, is not driving the crackdown push. Rather, Leftists fear that mainstream Republican and conservative lawmakers—and, more threateningly, voters—are Noticing the Great Replacement. Demographic change is essential to the Democrats’ political mission, but they don’t want the Historic American Nation to know they are pushing the change. Thus, Leftists call the Great Replacement a “white nationalist conspiracy theory” to silence discussion … unless, of course, those discussing the replacement think it’s a good thing. But that tactic is failing. Millions of Americans and their leaders are openly discussing the obvious.
IN AN ARTICLE published Thursday, economist Jeffrey Sachs called for an independent investigation of information held by U.S.-based institutions that could shed light on the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic. Writing in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Sachs and his co-author, Neil Harrison, a Columbia University professor of molecular pharmacology and therapeutics, said that federal agencies and universities possess evidence that has not been adequately reviewed, including virus databases, biological samples, viral sequences, email communications, and laboratory notebooks. Sachs and Harrison also highlighted a tantalizing scientific detail that may be an indication that SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes Covid-19, originated in a laboratory: a sequence of eight amino acids on a critical part of the virus’s spike protein that is identical to an amino acid sequence found in cells that line human airways.
Sachs and Harrison are hardly the first to suggest that SARS-CoV-2 might have been created in a lab. Since its genetic sequence was first published in February 2020, scientists have puzzled over the furin cleavage site, an area on the virus’s spike that allows it to be cleaved by a protein on the membrane of human cells and makes the coronavirus particularly dangerous to people. Once split, the virus releases its genetic material into the cell and reproduces. While attaching to cells and spike cleavage is part of how all coronaviruses work, SARS-CoV-2 is the only one of its class, sarbecoviruses, that can use furin for the cleavage.
Fentanyl is regarded as an extremely dangerous synthetic opioid and has gained notoriety as overdoses have become prolific across the nation.
Now, officials from the Georgetown Police Department are warning citizens of a new synthetic opioid that could be much more dangerous.
Georgetown police took to Facebook to raise awareness about metonitazene/etonitazene. The drug goes by the name “ISO” and has been found to be 20 times more potent than fentanyl.
According to Symetria Recovery, the substance is derived from etonitazene, a synthetic opioid first created by pharmaceutical companies in the 1950s to treat pain. It is rarely used in medicine now because there are much safer options.
Much like fentanyl, ISO can be found mixed in drugs such as cocaine and methamphetamine or in pill form. The synthetic opioid is extremely dangerous because not only can it be fatal if ingested, but it can also have the same effect if absorbed by the skin or inhaled.
The likelihood of a military conflict “between great powers” is growing, the chair of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, has warned.
Speaking in front of cadets graduating from US Military Academy West Point on Saturday, Milley said that the “world you are being commissioned into has the potential for a significant international conflict between great powers.” The general added “that potential is increasing, not decreasing.”
Milley went on to single out China and Russia, describing both as having “significant military capabilities” and intending to “change the current rules-based order.”
The twitter hashtag #BillGatesBioTerrorist was trending for a good part of the day Saturday after people in America and around the world put 2 + 2 together and realized Gates recently warned of a 'pox' outbreak being the next big deal to come at the world, right before Monkeypox broke out in the West.
And as numerous people pointed out in that twitter thread, we're now witnessing a perfect example of the Hegelian Dialectic at play in 2022, with the life-hating globalists once again launching a contagion upon the world which the dumbed down masses will 'demand' a 'solution to', that 'solution' already pre-planned well in advance, though it certainly won't 'solve the problem'.
With the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists putting out a story back on February 21st of 2020 titled "A biotech firm made a smallpox-like virus on purpose. Nobody seems to care" within which they reported that the smallpox-causing variola virus had been eradicated from nature with the only known samples of it have been held in two high-security facilities in the United States and Russia, as it also warned, developments in synthetic biology, a field which includes the art and science of constructing viral genomes, have made it possible to create the smallpox virus in a lab.
Reporting also within that story that evidence indicated back in 2020 that researchers are inching incredibly close to that line, their story also warned "the re-introduction of the disease—through negligence or malice—would be a global health disaster" with Smallpox responsible for the deaths of 300 million+ in the 20th Century.
With Monkeypox another such 'pox virus', and very strong evidence emerging that this latest 'outbreak' that is spreading quickly into the Western world was 'manufactured', we'll be taking a long look at that possibility in the next section of this story below but first, let's listen to what the 'scientific experts' who've been studying Monkeypox have to say and as you'll see, something very strange is going on.
According to new research, an unseen ‘mirror world’ of particles that interacts with our world only via gravity might be the key to solving a major puzzle in cosmology today – the Hubble constant problem.
The Hubble constant is the current rate of expansion of the universe. Predictions for this rate — from cosmology’s standard model — are significantly slower than the rate found by our most precise local measurements. This discrepancy is one that many cosmologists have been attempting to solve by changing our current cosmological model. The challenge is to do so without ruining the agreement between standard model predictions and many other cosmological phenomena, such as the cosmic microwave background. Determining whether such a cosmological scenario exists is the question that researchers, including Francis-Yan Cyr-Racine, assistant professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at The University of New Mexico, Fei Ge, and Lloyd Knox at the University of California, Davis have been working to answer.
Webmaster addition: Or, like the geocentirl universe model, the entire theory of the Big Bang is wrong, and the math attempting to reconcile the problems is this age's version of Epicycles.
The United States is reportedly working on a plan to help remove a Russian blockade of Ukraine's ports, with one Ukrainian official indicating that the possible plan could involve Russian ships with missiles "ready for use."
On Friday morning, Anton Gerashchenko, a Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs adviser, posted on Twitter that the United States is "preparing a plan to destroy the Black Sea Fleet," according to a translation of the tweet. That possible plan has attracted further comment from Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
Oleksandr Motuzianyk, a spokesman for the defense ministry, stated that Russia has missiles that are ready to be deployed among its Black Sea fleet, the Kyiv Independent tweeted.
"Two ships with a total volley of up to 16 '3M-54 Kalibr' missiles are ready for use in the Black Sea." Motuzianyk said, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
