A woman who claims she was sex trafficked from Costa Rica to the United States says she was victimized by the very people who were supposed to help her— the local police.

The plaintiff, who filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for Eastern Virginia under the pseudonym “Jane Doe,” alleges that in 2010 she was approached by a woman who suggested she travel to the U.S. to work as an “escort”—a job she says was described as going on dates and attending lavish events with wealthy men. She claims she was not told she would be required to perform sexual acts.

She flew to Virginia on a ticket purchased by her new employer in October 2010 and was allegedly driven to an apartment in Fairfax, Virginia, where she met her new boss, Hazel Marie Sanchez Cerdas. The plaintiff claims Sanchez told her that she would not be going on dates with men, but instead would be having sex with them—and that she knew where her family was and would have them harmed if she did not comply.

There’s Nothing Honorable or Decent About Colin Powell’s Long List of War Crimes

Excellence, devotion, loyalty — the list of noble attributes heaped upon Colin Powell after his death is long. But using such attributes to carry out an illegal war that slaughtered hundreds of thousands, as Powell did, is despicable, not noble.

JOHN KIRIAKOU: Drone Whistleblower Thrown in Pen With Terrorists

Drone whistleblower Daniel Hale was sent on Sunday to the notorious Communications Management Unit (CMU) at the maximum-security U.S. Penitentiary (USP) at Marion, Illinois to serve a 45-month sentence, rather than to the low-security prison at Butner, North Carolina, where federal Judge Liam O’Grady had recommended he go.

Butner is a prison hospital complex, and O’Grady was cognizant of Daniel’s need for psychological therapy to deal with post traumatic stress disorder from his time as a U.S. Air Force drone operator.

USP Marion, on the other hand, is a former “Supermax” prison that was built in the early 1960s as a replacement for Alcatraz. It was converted into a CMU to keep terrorists from being in contact with the media. The Bureau of Prisons, which apparently knows better than a federal judge, decided that the American public must be protected from Daniel Hale’s dangerous ideas, like the notion that we shouldn’t murder innocent civilians with drones.

Forced Vaccination Was Always the End Game. America’s Move Towards Authoritarianism

With the exception of Pearl Harbor and Sept. 11, 2001, Americans have not been attacked by an enemy on our own soil. Unlike countries in Europe during World War II, America has never been occupied by a military force or locked down under martial law.

We have never seen soldiers in armored vehicles patrolling the streets, warning us to stay in our homes or face arrest – or worse.

Beginning in 1776, when our freedom seeking founders wrote the Declaration of Independence1 and stood their ground from Lexington and Concord to Saratoga and Valley Forge,2 and then came together to create a constitutional Republic dedicated to protecting individual and minority rights, 3 the United States of America has defined and served as a beacon for liberty for people around the world. 4

Just last week, lame duck outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that New York City will be abolishing all of its gifted and talented programs for public school students.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio unveiled a plan Friday to phase out the gifted and talented programs for elementary school students that many educators say discriminate against Black and Hispanic children enrolled in the nation’s largest public school system.

The gifted and talented program will be replaced by a program in which all children are thrown into a Harrison Bergeron-like “pool” where everyone is special. How big is this enlarged pool? Large enough to potentially encompass the entire population of New York’s public schools.

It will be replaced by a program called “Brilliant NYC” that will expand the pool of students being offered accelerated learning, and not limit it to just the incoming kindergarteners who scored well on an optional exam that put them on a path to attend the city’s elite middle schools and high schools.

“This Idea of Intellectual Debate and Rigor as the Pinnacle of Intellectualism Comes from a World in Which White Men Dominated"

Phoebe A. Cohen is a geosciences professor and department chair at Williams College and one of many who expressed anger on Twitter at M.I.T.’s decision to invite Dr. Abbot to speak, given that he has spoken against affirmative action in the past.

Dr. Cohen agreed that Dr. Abbot’s views reflect a broad current in American society. Ideally, she said, a university should not invite speakers who do not share its values on diversity and affirmative action. Nor was she enamored of M.I.T.’s offer to let him speak at a later date to the M.I.T. professors. “Honestly, I don’t know that I agree with that choice,” she said. “To me, the professional consequences are extremely minimal.”

What, she was asked, of the effect on academic debate? Should the academy serve as a bastion of unfettered speech?Dr. Abbot said his speech would not include his views about diversity and affirmative action, but faculty and graduate students objected to his invitation.

Professor Suing UCLA After Being Put on Leave for Refusing to Let Black Students Pass an Exam - Regardless of Grade - in the Memory of George Floyd

An accounting professor at UCLA said he filed a lawsuit against the school after it put him on leave and allegedly threatened to fire him for not grading Black student’s more leniently than their peers.

“Recently, I was suspended from my job for refusing to treat my black students as lesser than their non-black peers,” Gordon Klein wrote in an op-ed titled, “Why I Am Suing UCLA.”

The ordeal began, according to Klein, on June 2, 2020, eight days after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis. A white student emailed Klein asking for a “no harm” final for Black students, meaning low grades would not be counted, in response to “unjust murders of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd.”

Klein described the proposal as “deeply patronizing and offensive” to Black students and said the email left him “shocked.”

Hunter Biden pitched himself as expert in Russian oligarch targeted by FBI: Devine

Hunter Biden boasted he could provide intelligence on the shady Russian oligarch whose Greenwich Village townhouse was raided by the FBI on Tuesday.

Latest Hollywood Wokeism Production HUGE FAIL

One of the latest Disney’s movies called The Last Duel that stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, turned out to be an epic fail at the box office on its opening weekend, due to the fact that it grossed a small $4.8 million.

This medieval epic film innovatively incorporated woke gender politics, following the latest trends, by embracing the #MeToo movement and hiring a female screenwriter aiming to add an anachronistic feminist perspective to the screenplay originally written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These "woke" productions are giant money shredders and yet Hollywood keeps cranking this crap out. People do not go to the movies or watch TV to be lectured at and indoctrinated. They want to be entertained. They want to have fun! Wokism isn't interested in people having fun.

"It's Like A Zombie Apocalypse Walking Into Parts Of San Francisco": Addict's Mother Decries

San Francisco's leniency on drugs is filling the street with lawlessness, according to the mom of a 32-year-old drug addict, who's urging policymakers to enforce stricter laws that criminalize drug use and sales in the city.

"[Police] are on the streets and they're not arresting anybody and the dealers are selling right in front of them," Jacqui Berlinn said in an interview with California Insider, a show with The Epoch Times.

"They allow the addicts to use in front of other people... Other people who live there can openly see the addict's using needles and smoking ... acting out in the ways that are harmful to them or the public."

Berlinn said her son is suffering from a fentanyl addiction, which has left him homeless and physically bent at a 45-degree angle.

"A lot of people say, you have to let him hit rock bottom," Berlinn said.

Trump Hopeful For Change After This Statue Removed In NY S#itty

The Thomas Jefferson Statue is being "evicted" from New York City's Council offices. Besides that, someday soon, "sane people will be back, and our country will be respected again," former President Donald Trump said Tuesday in a statement assigned by his Save America PAC.

City officials on Monday voted collectively to remove the 7-foot-tall sculpture of Jefferson over his embrace of slavery but postponed a conclusion on where to move it.

Democrats Cut Spending Package To $1.9 Trillion, Drop Free Community College

President Joe Biden and Democrats continue to negotiate the final price tag of their spending package where both sides believe an agreement can be reached between $1.75 trillion and $1.9 trillion, after removing free community college and curtailing the child tax credit.

The slimmed package will still include priorities such as universal pre-K and an expansion of Medicare. Billions will be allocated to address climate change, but parts of the climate agenda will be scaled back. Paid leave will be cut from 12 weeks to four, and less money will be allocated toward affordable housing than initially envisioned, while eldercare and insurance tax credits remain on the table. The child tax credit would only be extended for one additional year, according to reports.
